Department of Medical Science

Brief Introduction

Established in 2010, this innovative Bachelor of Science program aims to give students extensive knowledge in human physiology and medicien in order to meet the increasing demands for medical research institutions, medical device development and biopharmaceutical industry. International students who are interested to apply for an admission to our degree program, please visit the following website:http://oga.nthu.edu.tw/intl-students-admission/lang/en

Special Features of the Department

This program emphasizes basic science disciplines for medical applications with reference to human health and disease. Innovative teaching, complemented with virtual reality laboratory practice, will play a key role in preparing students for global vision and problem solving skills. Elective courses include Development of Medical Devices, Drug Development, International Regulatory Affair for Medical Devices, Food and Drugs, and internship in biotechnology companies. Graduates will develop a strong background in medical science with cross-disciplinary knowledge in biopharmaceutical and clinical application.
