Special Features of the Institute

 

The Institute of Communications Engineering emphasizes teaching and research activities in two areas: (i) communication systems and (ii) communication networks. Research topics on communication systems include wireless communications, communication system chip design, digital communications, error correction codes, signal processing for communications and networks, broadband communications, cooperative communications, biomedical signal processing, and secure communications. Research topics on communication networks include wireless networks, Internet, fiber-optical networks, SOC design for networking, social networks, big data analysis, data center, and cloud computing. This Institute  emphasizes innovative thinking and independent research.
